  34. The TV show was my first exposure to Douglas Adams' work. I've since read the
  35. books (all 5 of the trilogy:) and would *love* to see a film.

  48. I heard that DA sold the rights to a film studio, and the *idiots* sat on it!

  50. DA has since bought the rights back, and is planning to make a film. When, I
  51. don't know.

  53. The funny thing is, he was said on a radio show, that he would never have done
  54. a film back in the early 80s because the SFX just weren't up to the job.
  55. He said that only now would he think of creating a film...
